SPEED checks have been carried out in areas of North Somerset to catch dangerous drivers.
Yesterday (Tuesday, January 23), officers from the North Somerset Neighbourhood Policing team conducted speed checks in both Congresbury and Hewish.
The neighbourhood team encompasses beat teams from Nailsea, Redwood, Backwell & Wrington, and Yeo Vale.
This week marks Neighbourhood Policing Week, which aims to highlight the work carried out by officers across the region.
This includes speed checks, community events, patrols, crime prevention and much more.
A spokesperson from the policing team said: "As part of #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek which showcases the work of Neighbourhood Policing Teams across the country, the Nailsea Neighbourhood Policing Team (which encompasses, Nailsea, Redwood, Backwell & Wrington and Yeo Vale beat teams) have been out doing speed checks today in Congresbury and Hewish."
