THE award-winning North Somerset Scale Model Show will be returning to The Helicopter Museum, Weston-super-Mare, next month.
The event will see the hangars of the famous aviation attraction filled to the brim with scale models of all shapes and sizes.
Modelling societies from all across the South of England will be exhibiting their latest creations to the general public and offering tips and advice to would-be enthusiasts and old and young modellers alike.
The Helicopter Museum's Tom Umpleby said: “There will be a myriad of models on display ranging from space rockets and wartime vehicles to super-heroes and of course aeroplanes and helicopters.
“And of course, all the displays will be set against the dramatic backdrop of the full-sized aircraft in our collection.”
During the day there will be modelling demonstrations, open cockpit access, charity stalls and competitions.
The North Somerset Scale Model Show takes place on Sunday, July 14 from 10am until 5pm.
The Helicopter Museum is a registered charity and houses the world’s largest collection of helicopters including two aircraft of The Queens Royal Flight and the World Speed Record Holder.
