Ten youths from 1st Locking and Hutton Scout Group are working diligently for weeks to prepare for a challenging climb up Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales.
The fundraising endeavour, taking place on August 3 at 9am, was implemented to secure funds to support the continued operation of the 130 member group's various adventures.
The fundraising event aims to enhance resilience and cooperation among the scouts while ensuring they gain vital skills and experiences.
Proceeds from the climb will be used to acquire much-needed equipment, organise camping trips, and other educational activities to benefit all members.
The group encourages everyone to support these daring scouts as they conquer this task.
The scouts are raising money using traditional methods, however, an additional GoFundMe page has been set up to further boost their efforts.
Donations, whether big or small, can contribute significantly to their collective goals.
For those interested in financially assisting this promising group of scouts, they can visit www.gofundme.com and search for 'scouting to the dizzy heights' to learn more about the group's story and make a donation.
