Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced more capacity to the Canary Islands at Bristol Airport this winter due to a surge in demand.

It is part of a new programme by the popular airline and tour operator, which will add more than 25,000 seats across five UK airports.

In Bristol, there will be additional weekly Sunday services to and from Tenerife, operating from February 2 to March 23, 2025.

This is part of their most significant Winter Sun programme so far to the Canary Islands, featuring over 2.25 million seats for sale, signifying a 15 per cent increase in capacity.

Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays aim to offer over 225 weekly departures to the Canaries from the UK during winter.

CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, said: "The continued appeal of the Canary Islands as a Winter Sun favourite means we are adding even more choice for customers and independent travel agents.

"Winter 24/25 will be our biggest ever winter sun programme to the Canary Islands and our unrivalled programme is proving to be incredibly popular with customers and independent travel agents.”

These new flights are now on sale, perfect to escape the British winter.
