A POPULAR fast food chain has confirmed it will close all of its outlets next week as a 'mark of respect' for the late Queen.
The decision means Weston's three McDonald's restaurants will close until at least 5pm on Monday, September 19.
Deliveries will also be affected.
It comes after Monday was confirmed as a bank holiday for the Queen's funeral.
In a statement made on Twitter, McDonald's said: "In honour of HM Queen Elizabeth II and to enable everyone at McDonald's to pay their respects, our restaurants across the UK will be closed from midnight until 5pm on Monday."
McDonald's announcement follows a string of other businesses and supermarkets that have already confirmed they will close their doors on Monday. These include Asda, Argos and Lidl.
