POLICE prevented access to the site of a rave near Winscombe where up to 200 people gathered.
Earlier this morning, Avon and Somerset Police issued a message on social media and said officers remained at the site of a rave at Rowberrow Woods and blocked traffic in the area.
Officers also prevented further access and “issued a direction to leave”.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers remain at the site of a rave at Rowberrow Woods near Winscombe as up to 200 people & 150 vehicles leave.
“The music is off but local routes are blocked by traffic.
“On arrival officers prevented further access to the site and issued a direction to leave.”
Police also warned of queueing traffic and asked people to avoid the area.
