THE Friends of The Playhouse group has encouraged people to attend their popular coffee mornings.
The organisation meet regularly on Saturday mornings from 10am at The Playhouse theatre.
Both members and non-members are welcome to drop in and learn more about the committee, as well as enjoy a hot drink and biscuits.
As stated on their website, the voluntary group work towards supporting The Playhouse in any way that they can, including fundraising for equipment and helping out during busy shows.
There are some notable events and changes to schedule to be aware of, including:
- February 4 - monthly raffle prize to win two tickets to a show of your choice.
- February 11 - the coffee morning will run from 9.30am - 11am due to the Milkshake Live happening in the auditorium later that day.
- February 18 - from 10am there will be a fundraising quiz, open to participants and listeners.
