THE Sunfold Hotel in Weston-super-Mare is set to host a weekend of musical intrigue this March.
Running from Friday, March 24 to Saturday, March 25, the seaside hotel will be welcoming avant garde music-lovers to the UNFOLD event.
Each evening starts a buffet spread in preparation for a night of interesting sounds and artists.
Here is the line-up:
Friday, March 24
7pm: FIBONACCI DRONE ORGAN
The musical event will start with the Fibonacci Drone Organ, which will create durational pieces inspired by the Fibonacci Series found in nature.
8pm: VÄLVĒ
Folk lullabies will be re-imagined by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, combined with sudden outbursts of fuzz bass, sax, harp, and more.

9pm: SHOUN SHOUN
Back once again after their last performance at the venue before the pandemic broke, this group combines noise pop and art garage rock with the urban ennui of Nico and the noise of Sonic Youth.

10pm: YAMA WASHARI
Yama Warashi is formed by London based Japanese artist Yoshino Shigihara.
Her music is inspired by Japanese folk dance music, Bon Odori, free jazz and African music.

Saturday, March 25
7pm: JIM BOWER
Jim Bowler from Leeds will be bringing his debut solo album 'Life Support' to The Sunfold. This includes a full visual accompaniment of self-directed videos that partner songs concerning the state of the planet.

8pm: THE MODEL FOLK
Hailing from North Somerset, this six piece band will be touching on themes of romance, pathos and audience intrusion.

9pm: THE SOUNDS OF URSA
The Sounds of Ursa will transport audiences to a world of mystery and intrigue.

10pm: MR B THE GENTLEMAN RHYMER
Mr B will be bringing his 'Chap-Hop' style of music, including songs about cricket, pipe smoking, high society and interfering with livestock.
