A SELECTION of all-women events is coming to Front Room Weston-super-Mare.
The independent venue is set to welcome a host of shows in association with Director Jody Cook and Rosalie Pordes, who are in partnership with acta.
These shows will all be part of the Silent Heroines project, which explores untold stories of women and what womanhood really means.
Here's a few of the shows to look out for
March 23 - an all-woman's creative workshop
Starting at 1.30pm and running for around an hour and a half, this workshop will help you express yourselves through fun drama games and exercises, helping you figure out "What does being a woman mean to me?"
This workshop is inclusive to people who identify, or have lived experience, as a girl or woman. Ages 11+.
March 25 - Silent Heroines Disco
Delving deeper into the stories of real-life women, the silent disco will explore laughter and tears, puberty and menopause, struggles and successes.
This immersive theatre piece requires you to use bluetooth headsets while you watch the show.
Recommended age 14+, as the piece contains sexual reference.
There will be a showing at 3pm and 7pm. Each show is expected to last an hour and a half.
Nature photography walk
Weston women also have the chance to get out in nature.
This event is catered to those that want to get out into nature, talk, mingle, and rediscover themselves in Weston Woods.
Esther May Campbell will lead this special workshop for Silent Heroines.
Esther is a Bristol based artist whose work focuses on film and photography.
Esther began in screen work by directing lo-fi music videos and short films. Esther's work has developed to direct various television episodes of prime time shows such as Skins and Wallander.
In 2010 she worked with others to set up the Kids Kino Project, a cultural exchange between the people of Bristol and displaced children of recently earthquake-hit Haiti.
Bring warm clothes, warm drinks, muddy boots. All photography kit will be supplied.
Age 11+. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. This is a trans inclusive woman-only event.
This 3 hour long event will take place on March 18 from 2pm.
