A LOCAL photographer has released a photobook full of images of Weston Woods.
Born in Weston in 1965, Alex Wolfe-Warman has photographed Weston since his return to the town in 2007.
In 2022, Alex published The Woods, which takes spectators on a journey through the ancient woodland, documenting the changes to the area throughout the years.
With 47 photographs spread across 92 pages, the book illustrates Alex's love of the woods, which are frequented often by residents and visitors.
As stated on the Alex Wolfe-Warman website, Weston Woods have been the topic of great debate in recent times, especially over the subject of an Iron Age Hillfort. The collection of photos will explore this dilemma and more.
This is the second book published by Alex. Released in 2016, his first book, called Weston-super-Mare My Home Town, detailed Weston's landmarks and sceneries.
Copies of the book can be purchased on Alex's website.
