A Somerset trail has been named among the best walks for beginners in the UK, new research has said.
The ups and downs of Brean, which is a village in between Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea, made the top 10 in Sun Bingo's research.
The list was put together by compiling a dataset of the best coastal paths in the UK from the National Trust.
After that, each walk was analysed based on its length in kilometres, terrain, elevation and the time it would take to finish it.
These factors were given a weighting out of 100 and each coastal path was ranked based on these factors, according to their difficulty level.
This was then converted into a final score, in which the higher the number, the ‘easier’ the path is to complete.
If you're fancying the idea of taking up coastal walking then here is the top 10 list.
