LES Miserables's school edition will be screened at Macmillan Theatre presented by Weston's group, RE:ACT Performing & Production Arts present Les Misérables School Edition on 6 July 2023 on 8 July 2023.
Set amid the social and political struggles of 19th century France, West End favourite Les Misérables School Edition tells the story of former prisoner Jean Valjean, who is pursued for decades by his policeman nemesis, Javert.
Their epic cat-and-mouse journey will take them from the French fields to the gritty Parisian sewers, amidst an enthralling story of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.
The dramatic score includes numbers such as I Dreamed a Dream, On My Own, One Day More and Do You Hear The People Sing? Epic, grand and uplifting, this specially adapted version is inspired by the iconic Les Misérables musical, winner of over 100 international awards which has been seen by over 65 million people worldwide, sweeping its audience through an epic tale of passion and destruction, against the backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution.
