DREAMCOAT Stars is coming to Weston this October.

The musical extravaganza concert, by RED Entertainment, promises wonderful vocal performances of West End and Broadway classics, featuring stars from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The show will feature hits from the nation's most loved shows, such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, SIX, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, Les Misérables, Moulin Rouge and more.

Residents can enjoy the show on Tuesday, October 10, at The Playhouse at 7.30pm.

The concert has been produced by Matt Brinkler for RED Entertainment, as well as Keith Jack, who stars in the production after placing second in BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do.

Speaking about how the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph) has influenced him, Jack said: “Joseph has been a part of my life since before Any Dream Will Do, and I’ve always thought about getting a few Joseph performers together for a concert of musical theatre.

"Joseph is such a well-loved show and we were delighted with the fantastic audience reaction to our new concert last spring.

"We discovered the show not only appeals to people of all ages, it even introduced some of the newer musicals to audiences that haven’t heard them before.

"We’re excited to bring the show to more audiences later this year.”

Matt told RED Entertainment: “This musical theatre concert is the perfect way to make larger musicals accessible and affordable for so many that need an introduction to theatre. It gives us an opportunity to reach further into communities that haven’t got access to number one touring venues.

"It is my hope that we can inspire new audiences towards the West End and large-scale touring venues through the celebrity pull of these hugely talented ex-Josephs and co-stars.

"At the same time, we have an opportunity to introduce some new musicals to audiences that are already fans of the genre.”

The show's description reads: "Dreamcoat Stars celebrates the life and work of legendary composers in this brand-new mega mix production, with exciting vocal arrangements, incredible four-part harmonies, slick choreography and memorable anecdotes from the star's time in the role of Joseph.
