WITNESSES are urged to come forward after two 12-year-old girls were involved in a collision in Cheddar last month.
The collision happened on Station Road at around 1.50pm on Saturday, August 19.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene. The two children sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. They have since been discharged.
Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: "Did you see a collision in which two girls, both 12, were hurt in Station Rd, Cheddar at 1.50pm, Sat, Aug 19?
"They went to hospital &, thankfully, were discharged after treatment. If you saw it happen or have dashcam footage, pls call 101 ref 5223207241."

Anyone who was driving past at the time and saw the collision are urged to get in touch.
Any relevant dashcam footage would also be useful.
