FIRE crews have been called out following reports of a living room fire in Cheddar.
Fire control received reports of the domestic fire at around 5.59pm on September 16.
Two appliances and a officer from Devon and Somerset FRS were mobilised, these appliances came from Cheddar and Wells along with two appliances from Avon FRS.
On arrival, crews found the curtains in the living room on fire.
They soon got to work extinguishing the flames.
The occupant was removed from the property before the fire crew arrived. There were no reports of anyone being injured.
A spokesperson from the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire involved curtains within the living room which crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 thermal imaging camera.
"There was 5% damage t the living room and one occupant was removed from the property prior to FRS arrival."
