A LOCAL crime writer will be taking to the stage at Weston's Lit Fest: Words on the Edge.
Brian Price's talk will explore themes of crime, science, and further details on how he became an author on Saturday, October 7 at the Can't Dance Café in The Sovereign.
The free to attend talk will take place from 10.30am. No booking is necessary.
Brian, who is the author of the D.C. Mel Cotton detective series, has been recently credited with keeping best-selling author M.W. Craven out of jail. Brian often advises other authors on the science behind crime writing.
He warned Mike not to put a recipe for a deadly poison in his book, The Botanist, as it would be a terrorist offence. His book Crime Writing: How to Write the Science is a well-received handbook for crime authors.
His next novel, Fatal Blow, is due to be released on October 17.
The Weston Lit Fest is being produced by Super Culture in partnership with Weston-super-Mare Town Council, and is supported by Arts Council England.
