SPANDAU Ballet star and TV personality Martin Kemp is bringing his ‘Back to the 80s' DJ show to The Tropicana on Friday, October 13.

Taking to the decks to spin the best hits from the 1980s, the actor, musician, producer and DJ will be presenting one of the biggest 80s nights to hit the town in 2023.

The 80s night is selling out across the UK, so dust off your dancing shoes and spread the word far that Martin will be turning the clock back for a special night out.

As the hitmaker behind ‘Gold’, 'True’ and other classics, he's something of an expert when it comes to the hits that defined that trailblazing decade for pop music.

With a reputation for singalongs all night long, this DJ set promises to be the biggest 80s night in Weston all year.

Martin said: "This show will be a lot of fun and the ultimate return to the 80s.

Alongside his role as bassist in Spandau Ballet, who have sold millions of records worldwide, Martin is also a recognised TV personality.

Most recently seen on Channel 4`s Goggle Box with his Capital Radio DJ son Roman and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, Martin and Roman’s Sunday morning TV show.

He has also played lead roles in likes of The Krays and Eastenders, plus starring in Gary Barlow`s Let it Shine, and most recently The Masked Singer alongside his wife Shirlie.

At the end of last year Martin also released his music memoir Ticket to the World: My 80s Story, a elebration of 80s culture from one man at the centre of it all, which touched on the New Romantics, Spandau Ballet, Live Aid and beyond.
