STUDENTS from Kings Academy were crowned as winners at the World Tap Dancing Championships.
Pupils from the Cheddar-based school won the gold medal in the Team Formation Dance category at the championships in Germany.
Tap Attack selected, trained and guided the 43-strong team to victory as they competed against over 1,000 other dancers from 20 different countries.
Tap Attack's website reads: "Tap Attack is one of the world’s most renowned tap dance specialists.
"It comprises a performance company, a national training programme and the Great Britain tap team. Since its inception, Tap Attack has taught thousands of tap dancers all over the world."
Their impressive footwork and synchronisation wowed the judges and inspired a standing ovation from audience members.
Team GB achieved a total of seven gold, six silver, and three bronze medals across various categories. Sisters Autumn, Bonnie, and the rest of Team GB have returned home as champions.
