A COURT has slapped a criminal behaviour order on a 14-year-old Weston boy.
Avon and Somerset Police had requested at a youth court sitting at North Somerset Magistrates' Court that the order be made on the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons,
It follows the youngster's conviction in August for a public order offence, arson and assaults.
Under the year-long order, the boy is barred from entering Weston town centre, Marchfields Way and Queensway estate unless accompanied by named people and authorities.
He is also banned from entering business premises where he has received a written ban; must not ride pillion on a moped, motorbike or e-scooter; and cannot be in possession of a bicycle without the owner's permission.
An order put into force by the court prevents the publication of anything that could identify the boy until he is 18.
