THE Somerset Guy Fawkes Carnival is coming to Burnham-on-Sea tonight (Monday, November 6).
The event, complete with inventive carts and dazzling displays, will start from 7.30pm.
The procession will move along the following roads:
- Tesco roundabout (start);
- Love Lane;
- Manor Road;
- Victoria Street;
- High Street;
- Marine Drive;
- Burnham Holiday Village on Marine Drive (finish).
Attendees are reminded that there will be some road closures in place, which will be in force from 4pm until 1am tomorrow (Tuesday, November 7).
These are:
- Love Lane;
- Manor Road;
- Victoria Street;
- High Street;
- Pier Street;
- Old Station Approach;
- Marine Drive;
- Oxford Street.

The road between Pepperall roundabout and Burnham Road Esso garage will also close from 8pm.
Residents have been reminded to use an official car park where possible. This includes Old Station Approach (TA8 1PH), B&M (TA8 1PT), Apex (TA8 1NQ) and Oxford Street (TA8 1EL).
These will all be open at 3pm and users are suggested to pay a £5 donation in return.
