WESTON locals have been sharing some historic photographs in the We Grew Up in Weston-super-Mare Facebook group.

Newsagents in Locking, date around 1963. (Image: Don Barber/We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare) It seems that many remember this store. One person commented: "The shops still there but so different. Remember the Co-op milk depot opposite where I used to fetch milk and eggs for mother paid with plastic milk cheques earned from returned bottles. Glass not darned plastic!"

Editor of the newspaper, Tim Lethaby, posted on the group: "This group is for anyone who wants to share their old pictures and memories of Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.
