THOSE jetting off on their holidays from Bristol Airport today (Thursday, November 16) have been warned that there are some delays to all buses.
All Bristol Airport buses are running 15 to 20 minutes late due to the A38 roadworks.
National Grid Electricity Distribution is installing new extra high and high voltage cables along a kilometre stretch of the A38 at the junction of Downside Road. This is part of a £300,000 investment which will replace the deteriorated cables from the 1950s.
The work is expected to take around eight weeks and is due to finish by December 22 at the very latest.
Posting on Facebook just over an hour ago, a spokesperson from Bristol Airport said: "Passenger update currently all Bristol Airport buses are running 15-20 minutes off schedule due to A38 roadworks, further updates will be provided."
Holidaymakers should leave plenty of time to travel to the airport.
