A 14-YEAR-old child has appeared before the court today charged with breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (Thursday, November 16).
Police officers say they are aware of concerns about "anti-social behaviour and criminality" in Weston.
A spokesperson from the North Somerset Neighbourhood Policing team said: "The child was released on court bail from North Somerset Youth Court and is due to appear before magistrates on Thursday December 14."
Neighbourhood policing Insp Graeme Hall said: "We are aware of growing concerns about anti-social behaviour and criminality in Weston-super-Mare.
"My team is working hard with our partners to combat these concerns and we continue to arrest individuals who we identify as being involved, and we made a further arrest today.
"We continue to provide an increased presence in Weston town centre and would encourage the public to continue to work with us.
"If you see something, say something. Continue to report crimes and anti-social behaviour to us and our partners so we can continue to respond."
