THE festive season is sweeping The Brit Bar in Weston-super-Mare as local band The Leylines gear up for their annual Christmas party.
The December 2nd event marks their return to their hometown, an occasion they indulge in only once a year given their packed touring schedule around the country.
"Last year's party at The Brit was sold out, and pleased to report that this year's show is also likely to do the same," said a band spokesperson.
Formed in 2013, The Leylines, known for blending various music styles into a unique sound, have gathered a significant national following.
Their debut album, Along The Old Straight Track, released in June 2016, was met with comparisons to works from The Levellers, Mad Dog Mcrea, and Ferocious Dog.
Yet, the band sustained their individual musical identity, with their second album, Recover Reveal.
Their music has been performed at numerous UK festivals, the likes of Glastonbury Festival and Beautiful Days, among others.
The upcoming Christmas party has boosted the festivity at The Brit Bar.
Lucky County Gazette readers even stand a chance to bag some tickets for the event through an exclusive giveaway.
