Santa is facing trial this Christmas at the Front Room in Weston-Super-Mare.
Presented by the OMF Theatre, a court-based comedy show will decide whether or not Santa himself can deliver presents this year or if Jeff Bezos’s Amazon will take over.
The event – taking place on December 13 at 7.30pm – is an original radio play-style comedy show called 'Santa Vs The People'.
Well-known actor Greg Winders, famously known as 'the man with many hats', will take the stage bringing multiple characters, including Jeff Bezos and Rudolph, to life.
Michael Terry, previously seen as Santa in FIFA '16 adverts alongside Lionel Messi, will also be part of the cast.
While the show presents a classic storyline of good against evil, it also raises serious modern-day issues, such as climate change.
In a twist sure to bring humour and chill to the audience alike, Santa will be held responsible for his factory melting the Polar Ice caps.
Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos, seeing his chance, plots to take over delivering presents to children.
As Mr Bezos says: "The era of old white men is over, now is the era of the middle-aged man!"
‘Santa Vs The People’ follows the creators' other comedies, Apocalypse Kernow and Barmy Nonsense.
The creators' knack for fusing humour and societal issues promises to have attendees both laughing and thinking throughout the show.
The event operates on a 'pay what you decide' policy aiming to make the theatre as accessible as possible.
If you're able to pay more than £10 by way of a donation, your contribution will benefit visiting artists and contribute to the ongoing running of the theatre.
