BRISTOL Airport flyers have been told to leave some extra time to get to and from the North Somerset airport due to some A370 carriageway maintenance work which starts next week.
The A370 at Rhodyate Hill, Congresbury and Main Road, Cleeve will be closed overnight from Monday, November 27 and Monday, December 4.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Bristol Airport said: "The A370 at Rhodyate Hill, Congresbury and Main Road, Cleeve, will be closed overnight on Mon Nov 27 to Mon Dec 4 between 20.00-06.00 (excluding the weekend), for North Somerset Council to facilitate further carriageway works.
"As the works require a full road closure, diversions will be in place and the A3 Bristol Flyer will use the A38 in both directions.
"Please allow extra time for your journey to the airport if you’re planning to travel via the A370."
