Weston Rotary donated over 160 kilograms of food to Weston-super-Mare Foodbank.
All items were canned goods, specifically requested and funded by members, in lieu of exchanging Christmas cards.
The organisation also organised a pre-Christmas ice-skating trip for young carers at the Tropicana.
Additionally, clients and carers from the Brandon Trust were treated to rides on the West Somerset Railway Santa Express running through the Quantock Hills to Minehead.
Then to start the year, the Rotary continued to live up to its motto of 'Service Above Self'.
It collected Christmas trees for donations towards Weston Hospice.
