VARIOUS roads in Weston Village will be closed from next week to allow for block paving removal works.
The roads are expected to be closed for a duration of six days, not including weekends.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the North Somerset Travel and Roads team said: "We would like to inform you of the upcoming block paving removal works on various roads, within Weston Village.
"Works are due to start on Monday January 22 2024 for an anticipated duration of six days (excluding weekends).
"To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the road(s) between the hours of 09:30-15:30. Please see the below for programme details:
- "22/01/2024 Worle Moor Road (between Howitt Way and Abbey Gardens);
- "23/01/2024 Bransby Way (junction with Old Mill Way);
- "24/01/204 - 25/01/2024 Longridge Way (junction with Carberry View);
- "26/01/2024 - 29/01/2024 Longridge Way (junction of Stroud Way).
"No parking cones will be put out before commencing works and we kindly request you refrain from parking in these areas to help facilitate the work.
"Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works, however, due to the nature of the works, vehicle access will be heavily restricted during working hours."
