A BUSY North Somerset airport will be hosting its first Jobs Fair of the year this month.
On Tuesday, February 20, from 11am until 1pm, residents from across the region will flock to Lulsgate House to learn more about the 100 plus vacancies currently available at Bristol Airport.
This includes permanent roles in customer service, hospitality, retail, airline handling and security.
Seasonal roles are also available.
Over 50 employers operate out of the North Somerset airport and a few will be present on the day.
This includes:
- Security provider ICTS;
- Travel catering specialist SSP;
- Duty Free shopping operator WDF;
- Escape and 1903 Lounges;
- Jet2;
- Europcar;
- Mego Employment Ltd;
- Border Force.
For attendees' ease, there will be free parking available and subsidised travel on the Flyer buses from Weston-super-Mare and Bristol City Centre.
Those interested can register their interest on the Bristol Airport website, which reads: "This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the different roles on offer, to take part in a speed interview with our business partner colleagues and get some handy CV hints and tips!"
Debbie Hartshorn, people director at Bristol Airport, said: "After a busy 2023, the teams at Bristol Airport are gearing up for our busiest ever summer season.
"In preparation, we will be hosting a Jobs Fair this month to showcase a wide range of employers, shift patterns and interesting roles to suit people with different skills and experiences.
