Chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White will debut new menus at Cadbury House in Congresbury on Mothering Sunday, March 10.
Inspired by the memories of his mother which played a key role in him becoming a chef, Mr Pierre White emphasised the importance of making mothers feel cherished.
Having lost his mother at the age of six, he wants families to understand the value of showing their own mothers how much they are appreciated.
Aware that not everyone will have the skills to replicate the dishes that made him famous, Mr Pierre White has put together several new menus for Mother's Day.
These include a brand-new à la carte menu, an updated Sunday roast menu and an afternoon tea spread that provides as an alternative to a traditional Sunday lunch.
Gareth Ireland, the general manager, said: "Marco has devised a number of new menus that are the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing family meal out."
"Marco said in his book ‘The Devil in the Kitchen’ that it wasn’t until he was 31-years-old before he could analyse the tremendous impact of his mother’s life, and death, upon his own.
“Treating your mum to a nice Sunday lunch or afternoon tea in a relaxed environment is a lovely way to show how much you care and is a great way to get the whole family together allowing everyone to sit back, relax and enjoy the day.
“The Mothering Sunday afternoon tea is a new idea here at Cadbury House and includes a delicious range of finger sandwiches to mouthwatering pastries and scones.
“We’re in the business of feeding people in a great environment where the service is of the highest standard. That’s why we’ll be pulling out all the stops so that from the moment guests arrive they are made to feel special, especially the mums.”
