A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a collision with a wall in the early hours of this morning (Friday, March 1).
Police officers were called to Royal Sands at around 4.30am after receiving a report of a single-vehicle collision.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, had come off his bike after colliding with a wall.
Emergency services and members of the public rushed to his aid, but the victim sadly died at the scene.

The man's family have been informed and are being supported by a specially-trained family liaison officer.
Beach Road and some of Uphill Road North remain closed in both directions from the junction with Clarence Road South to the junction of Moorland Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
