WESTON locals are reminded to tread carefully whilst beach recycling is underway.
Barriers and signs have been put up in the area to help keep people safe.
A Weston Seafront spokesperson said: "Soft sand reminder.
"We’ve piled sand on the beach near Knightstone Island, close to the slipway. This is a technique called beach recycling, and helps us make sure the beach is ready for the summer months, so you can enjoy spending time here.
"While this process is happening, there will be some areas of soft sand. We’ve put out barriers and signs in the area to help keep you safe, so please don’t try and access any blocked areas.
"Our rangers will be regularly patrolling the area between 7am and 8pm. Between high tides, they will also put additional signs on the beach, and use pegs and tape to mark the areas you should avoid for your safety."
