Two local choirs enjoyed success at this year's Highbridge Festival of Arts on March 16.
Weston's Vocalise and Vocalise-Lite choirs triumphed against five region-wide choirs.
Vocalise won five classes, earning two honours marks and three distinction marks.
Vocalise-Lite grabbed silver medals in two categories, with one honour's mark and a top distinction.
Ann Clelow, who leads the Vocalise Choirs, said: "I'm so proud of them - they worked so hard, and it paid off.
"They're all buzzing and walking on air!"
Both community groups, part of Ann Clewlow's Vocalise Choirs, welcome new members to their Monday and Thursday rehearsals at St George's Community Centre and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall, respectively.
