A NEW bakery has opened its doors in Berrow today (Thursday, March 28).
Local woman Eloise Baker, 24, is the founder of Ellie's.
She opened her new store this morning at the former Haverslice unit.
Speaking before the opening, Ellie said: "I can announce that I am opening on March 28.
"Doors open at 7am with freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat, along with an array of cakes and drinks on offer.
"There will also be fresh bread on sale from Maisey's and Astills.
"I cannot wait to welcome my first customers and share with everyone my passion.
"It's been a bit of a surreal experience these last few weeks, planning and preparing the shop.
"Don't think I'll ever get used to saying 'my shop'.
"See you all bright and early."
Posting on social media earlier, Ellie added: "I can’t believe I’m saying this but Ellie’s is open!
"Freshly baked pastries, fresh bread, lots of sweet treats and a few select sandwiches."
