VOLUNTEERS are needed to help nurture Weston's "hidden rewilding treasure."
The next volunteer day at Madeira Cove Gardens is Friday, April 5.
A spokesperson from the Nature and Climate North Somerset team said: "We are seeking volunteers! Madeira Cove Gardens, in Weston is a hidden rewilding treasure that we aim to enhance in terms of biodiversity, making it a more inviting place for all to enjoy.
"Join us in nurturing the environment through organic gardening and relishing the outdoors with a stunning sea view.
"Tasks include: gardening, repainting the bandstand, signage improvements and graffiti removal, wildlife monitoring and surveys.
"Next volunteer day: Friday, April 5 2024.
"Location: Madeira Cove, Birnbeck Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS24 2EE.
"Time: 10.30am.

"We provide all necessary tools! Please bring refreshments with you and dress appropriately for all weathers."
