A poetry night is coming to the Front Room in Weston-super-Mare this month.
On April 25, three leading UK performers will light up the Front Room Theatre, thanks to new poetry group LIVEwire.
These include notable names Laurie Bolger, founder of The Creative Writing Group and winner of the Moth Poetry Prize, Vanessa Kisuule, the 2014 Roundhouse Slam Champion, and the present Bristol City poet, Kat Lyons.
The night is a part of a national effort to reframe public ideas about poetry while showcasing the existing extensive talent.
It starts at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £12.
