IN 2018, a Weston musician appeared on ITV'S Britain's Got Talent.
Marvin Muoneke, who was best known by his stage name Marvin The Jazzman, appeared with friend Dennis DeMille on the popular TV show.
The pair performed as The Ratpackers, a nod to the famous group of entertainers nicknamed the Rat Pack, which included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr, among others.
Their performance came out of Sinatra back-catalogue, as they sang a rendition of New York, New York.
Speaking ahead of their turn on the big stage in front of the judges, 22-year-old Marvin said: “This show could potentially change both of our lives.
“This is a great opportunity to have a little taste of what can come in the future, and I’m really excited.”
The pair received a standing ovation from the judges, and Simon Cowell said: “That was great. You are very feel-good.”
Alesha Dixon told the pair: “You brought such a lovely, gorgeous energy into the room.
“There is something about you two and your character, and your charisma – it’s infectious.
“I love that style of music and you really are a breath of fresh air. Fantastic audition.”
David Walliams echoed the comments made by the other judges, saying: “You guys are absolutely adorable.
“The incredibly infectious energy you have when you sing together is very special.
“I’m so pleased you came on Britain’s Got Talent.”
Amanda Holden went even further, and said she hoped to see The Ratpackers in the final.
She said: “You are brilliant.”
