POLICE are appealing to the public following a violent robbery in Yatton earlier this month.
At around 7.30am-8am on Thursday, April 11, the victim was walking down an alleyway on Mendip Road when a man pushed them from behind before attempting to punch them.
Both victim and suspect ended up on the floor when the suspect grabbed the victim's phone and ran away.
The phone is a black Alcatel smartphone.
The suspect is described as white/black, of large build, between 5ft 9ins and 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a blue hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.
