A WESTON pub is supporting a campaign group dedicated in making the town "defib friendly."
The Walnut Tree is raising funds for a defibrillator to be installed alongside the Donate for Defib team.
A spokesperson from the Donate for Defib team said: "We are delighted to announce that the new Walnut Tree pub in Weston is fundraising for a defibrillator with us and supporting our mission of enabling Weston to become a Defib friendly town!"
The campaign is being spearheaded by the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, which saves lives day in, day out.
Another influential figure in the campaign is Josh Bell, a student paramedic from the University of Portsmouth.
This isn't Josh's first experience fundraising. He previously raised money for the charity when he was only a school child, illustrating his dedication to the cause. He was visited at Ashcombe Primary School in October 2010 by members of the charity who wanted to thank him.
