A WESTON-SUPER-MARE pub has undergone a spectacular transformation and is set to re-open as The Regent Pub following a significant £323,000 investment from Stonegate Group.
The much-anticipated reopening will feature a grand celebration today, Friday, June 14, on Regent Street with popular band Station to Station taking the stage to welcome guests old and new.
The Regent Pub promises to redefine the local pub experience, with a host of impressive new features from top to bottom.
The entire venue has been re-vamped throughout, including a brightly refreshed exterior that is sure to catch the eye.
Inside, guests will discover a completely renovated space with brand new booths, seating, and designated areas for a huge array of entertainment options.
Sports enthusiasts will be thrilled with the upgraded and expanded TV screens, perfectly timed for the upcoming Euros.
The pub now also boasts modern media screens, DJ booths, and areas designed specifically for live band performances.
Music lovers can look forward to live bands on the last Friday of every month, already booked through to December, and a fresh line-up of DJs every Friday and Saturday night starting at 9pm.
The Regent is going big on bottomless brunch, featuring a dedicated area to enjoy this increasingly popular trend with friends and family.
A brand-new menu has also just launched, and will offer an array of delicious options to satisfy all guests.
Extended opening hours now mean guests can start their day at The Regent from 9am daily.
Sue, general manager at The Regent, brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the community.
Having lived in Weston-super-Mare for a long time and with 18 years in the pub industry, including her previous stint with Stonegate, Sue has been leading Yates since January and can’t wait to run the popular local venue as the newly named and transformed The Regent.
Her commitment to the local area is reflected in her approach to team building not only has she retained the existing team, she has also doubled its size, and hired locally.
Sue said: "I'm incredibly excited to welcome back the community to our revamped space, we've worked hard to create an inviting and vibrant environment where everyone can enjoy great food, entertainment, and a sense of community.
“I can't wait for everyone to experience what we've done with The Regent."
The reopening event will feature a live performance by local band Station to Station on Friday 14, and a VIP night on Saturday 15 with circus acts, stilt walkers, magicians, and a DJ. Local band Staple Hill Trio will also perform from 7pm on Saturday.
