PASSENGERS are being warned of potential disruptions to travel as a global IT issue could also affect Bristol Airport today (July 19).
The IT issue is impacting many businesses, including airlines and air traffic control.

A message from Bristol Airport read: “A global IT issue is impacting many businesses – including airlines, airports, and air traffic control.
“There is potential for disruption to travel today. We advise passengers to contact their airlines for the latest flight information before travelling to the airport.
“Some of our retailers are currently unable to accept cards – we recommend bringing cash if possible.
“Latest departures and arrivals are on our website.”

Passengers are also urged to bring cash as some of the airport retailers are currently unable to accept cards.
A message on the airport's website read: "IT network issues are affecting aviation across the world.
"We expect to see some disruption to flights operating to and from Bristol today.
"Customers should contact their airline for specific flight queries and ensure they arrive on time at the airport in line with your airlines' expectations.
"Like elsewhere, some of our retailers are experiencing issues with card payments, we therefore recommend that customers bring cash where possible."
