A ROAD in Weston-super-Mare will be temporarily closed starting from today for essential carriageway repair works.
The closure on Broadoak Road could last for up to five days and is expected to be in effect for 24 hours over a period of two days, Weston-super-Mare Town Council said.
The works will be carried out by North Somerset Council The affected sections include Broadoak Road from its junction with Delapre Road to its junction with Uphill Road North.
Motorists are being told to use Delapre Road and Uphill Road North.
The closure is necessary for important repair work to ensure the safety and quality of the road, the town council also added.
