A housebuilder has donated more than £600 to a mental health charity.
Redrow South West, which is currently building homes at Woodborough Grange in Winscombe, donated £623 to Somewhere House Somerset.
The donation was made as part of Redrow's Community Fund initiative, which was launched last year to help organisations in the area.
Angie Clarke, founder of Somewhere House Somerset, said: "We’re incredibly grateful for this donation from Redrow South West.
"Receiving these funds allows us to finally purchase a branded gazebo, something that has been in the pipeline for a while.
"As a relatively small charity, anything which helps us raise awareness and share our name more is a huge benefit."
Somewhere House Somerset helps counteract the difficulty of accessing mental health services by offering one-to-one counselling at a reduced rate.
The charity also organises Coffee and Chat Mornings, where people can connect and seek help.
The donation will be used to purchase a gazebo with the charity's logo, to be used at events to raise awareness.
