A FOUR-STAR hotel will host a bingo game with a difference next month.

In an exciting twist, players of Disco Bingo at Cadbury House, in Congresbury, will need to guess the names of songs across various decades and genres instead of traditional number calling.

The first player to mark off all the songs on their scorecard will win.

Matilda Burgess, marketing manager at Cadbury House, said: "Bingo is one of the most popular games there is and is traditionally played using numbers.

"Our version will use music and will certainly add to the fun and atmosphere.

"We’ll be encouraging plenty of dancing on the day and want as many players to come dressed as their favourite musical artist.

"And as this is being held in one of the most well-known venues in the region, we’ll want winners to shout ‘Cadbury House’ to claim their prize.

"We’ve got some fabulous prizes including a dinner, bed and breakfast stay here at Cadbury House, dinner for two in the famed Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant, and a spa day in our award-winning spa."

The entry cost is £17 per person, or £25 for a VIP ticket, which includes BBQ food with a complimentary first drink, including a half bottle of prosecco.

The event will take place on September 6, beginning at 7pm and continuing until midnight, with a DJ and disco afterwards.
