It's a busy September ahead for The Friends of The Playhouse.
First, the group has organised an Annual Theatre Open Day set for Saturday, September 7.
The event, scheduled to start at 10.30am, includes behind-the-scenes tours, a chance to walk on the stage, visit the backstage crew room and much more that is typically unseen by the public.
Participants may also ask questions about the venue.
Admission to the open day will cost £5 per adult, with children aged 16 years and below allowed to enter for free.
The last tour will begin at 3pm.
Included in the ticket price is a complimentary hot drink, or soft drink for children, along with biscuits.
To experience this rare opportunity, prospective attendees may secure a place through the Playhouse Theatre Box Office.
Refreshments will also be available throughout the day in the theatre bar area.
The theatre's entertainment for the day includes a magician and face painting for younger visitors.
The tours are expected to last approximately an hour, with the first tour scheduled at 10.30am.
The Friends of The Playhouse have organised more events throughout the month.
On September 14, a Grand Autumn Raffle will take place during the Saturday Coffee Morning.
The raffle's top prize includes two tickets to a show of the winner's choice at The Playhouse, among other remarkable prizes.
