A NORTH Somerset-based charity Weston Hospicecare is thrilled to announce the launch of its brand-new, high street store in a seaside town.
Weston Hospicecare is opening in Burnham on Sea on Friday. August 23, on 38 High Street.
This new store will be situated next door to Weston Hospicecare’s former fashion store.
The former fashion store will now become a furniture shop, perfect for customers seeking hidden gems, collectibles and more for their households.
Customers are encouraged to visit the store on Friday for its grand opening to take advantage of exclusive offers.
The new store launches ahead of Weston Hospicecare’s latest retail campaign, ‘Sustainable September’.
Throughout the month of September, the charity is encouraging the local community to shop sustainably while looking good without costing the earth.
The campaign will push eco-friendly styles and conscious fashion choices to the forefront, and throughout the month there will be a series of activities community members can get involved in as well as, of course, shopping.
Weston Hospicecare will be hosting three talk series events, offering individuals the opportunity to learn from experts, offering advice on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and ethical shopping.
• Make and mend – 11th September at Waterloo Street store, 19 Waterloo St, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1LF
• Pre-loved shopping – 12th September at the Milton store, 195 Milton Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS22 8EF
• How to shop sustainably – 13th September at Superstore store, 10 Searle Cres, Weston-super-Mare BS23 3YX
In addition to these talk events, Weston Hospicecare will also be hosting a ‘Makeover Competition’ in which customers can enter via Facebook to win a £25 voucher to be spent at a select Weston Hospicecare retail store.
Entries for this competition are now open and must be submitted by Friday, August 23.
Commenting on the launch of the new store, Weston Hospicecare Area Manager Cindy Tee said: “We are so excited to open our brand-new store, welcoming all to visit and to purchase some beautiful pre-loved goods.
