WESTON-super-Mare Priory Community School said they are delighted to announce an excellent set of GCSE and Vocational Qualification results for the academic year 2023-2024.
The dedication and hard work of our students, coupled with the unwavering support of our staff and families, have led to a year of remarkable achievements, the school said.
These results reflect the core values of Aspiration, Integrity, and Respect that define our school community.
Headteacher Mr Markoutsas expressed his pride in the students' accomplishments.
He said: "We are incredibly proud of all our students who have shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to excellence throughout the past two years.
“These results are a testament to their hard work and the high aspirations they have set for themselves.
“Our staff have been outstanding in providing the guidance and support needed to help every student succeed, and today we celebrate the fruits of that collective effort."
A spokesperson for the school said: "We would like to celebrate those students who achieved top grades (grades 7-9), including Wahed Uddin, Amber Burton, Shannon Kingston, Mia Wickens, Katie Campbell and Tom Ashcroft.
"The diversity of success across various subjects highlights the broad talents and capabilities of our students.
"As a school, we believe in nurturing not just academic success; the personal growth of each student, fostering an environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential is important to us."
Mrs. Petrou, Head of Year 11, said: "The journey our students have undertaken this year has been truly inspiring.
“They have demonstrated a deep commitment to their studies while embodying the values of Integrity and Respect in all that they do.
“I am particularly proud of how they have supported one another and approached their challenges with a positive mindset.
“Their achievements are richly deserved, and we are excited to see them continue to excel in their future endeavours."
The spokesperson also said: "As we celebrate this year's successes, Priory Community School remains committed to instilling the values of Aspiration, Integrity, and Respect in our students.
"We look forward to building on this year's achievements and continuing to provide an environment where every student can achieve their best.
