YEAR 11 students at Worle Community School Academy are celebrating some excellent GCSE results with improved outcomes in all key areas.
The year group saw fabulous individual results with the overall year seeing improvements across the board including in English and maths.
Highlights of this year’s intake include five of our students achieving grade 8 or better in all subject areas. Congratulations also goes to all of the students that made significant progress during their GCSE courses.
Headteacher Mark Tidman said: “The achievements are a just reward for this brilliant cohort of students and we are all thrilled for them and also incredibly proud.”
“They have all been fantastic. The results this year have been a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by the students as well as the stellar support of their families, our staff, governors and the whole community.
They will be missed, but we wish them good luck in the future and look forward to them returning and sharing their future achievements with us.”
The results reflect the positive progress that the school is making as it enters an exciting new era with United Learning later this year.
