The North Somerset Neighbourhood Policing Team will host two 'Talk to Us' events in Weston-super-Mare next week.

The first will be held on Tuesday, September 3, from 10am to 12pm in the car park of Wick St Lawrence Village Hall.

The second will take place on Wednesday, September 4, from 10.30am to 12pm at St Georges Community Centre, Willow Close.

Residents will have the opportunity to speak with police community support officer (PCSO) Dave Bennett.

A spokesperson for the policing team explained: "Whether you want advice on how to protect your belongings, more information about the work we are doing in your area, or you want to raise a concern about an issue in your community, Dave from your local neighbourhood policing team will be on hand to help."

The neighbourhood policing teams engage with the community to address concerns and issues.

They aim to understand the local issues affecting people's safety and quality of life, set local priorities, and work together with the community to solve problems.

They also provide feedback to the community on their actions and achievements to enhance public confidence that they are addressing locally significant issues.
