A MAN found guilty of aggressive behaviour in Taunton and Weston has been jailed.
Lee Webster, 43, of Tyssul Court, Tenby, Wales, had previously denied two counts of assault by beating and one of using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Weston on December 13 last year.
He had further pleaded not guilty to using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Taunton on January 16 this year.
He was however found guilty of all four charges when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court.
He was jailed for 12 weeks (concurrent of each other) on each of the three counts in Weston, with a further 12 weeks’ prison for the incident in Taunton.
The court heard the sentence was imposed because of Webster’s “unprovoked attack of a serious nature” and his “flagrant disregard for court orders”.
